I have cmc joint arthritis in both hands, leaving me with painful mobility. Dr. Hay is the fourth hand surgeon I’ve been to, and the only one who was realistic, honest, and willing to listen to my concerns. The other doctors either wanted to rush to surgery (the barbaric kind) or shoot me full of cortisone. I went the cortisone route for a few years but knew that couldn’t continue. I was all set for surgery with Dr. Hay - who suggested a much less barbaric version of the surgery, and then I came across another alternative treatment. I went to see Dr. Hay about it and he was honest, supportive, and never made me feel like I was crazy or dumb for wanting to try one more thing. I know that I will most likely eventually need the surgery, and Dr. Hay told me warmly that whenever I was really ready, he’d be there. I feel like I finally found someone who can realistically help me, who is personable, kind, and straightforward. I highly recommend Dr. Hay.

Dr. Hay's office provides a seamless, efficient, and comfortable experience. I needed wrist surgery and the team was incredible, as was Dr. Hay- I am recovering well and my scar is perfectly straight :) I'm very impressed with the doctor and team.

Made My son and appt with Dr Hay. We waited less the 5-10 minutes before we were called. When we were brought back we were put in a room with a lovely view of Angels stadium. When Dr Hay came in. He was very nice and explained everything in detail. He referred us to another Amazing Dr. Dr. Itamura to help him with my sons surgery. His staff was on top of everything. They made the whole process extremely easy.

We have made the best decision for choosing Dr. Hay to do the surgery for our son Jonathan’s finger. Jonathan’s surgery went so well and smooth. My husband and I and Jonathan as well can’t thank you enough for the great work you have on his finger Dr. David. Jonathan is recovering so well thanks God. May god bless you always. This doc has great bedside manner. Professional, knowledgeable, and effectively communicates the treatment plan. This entire office is meticulously clean! The office staff is friendly, informative, and timely! I highly recommend this Dr & his office!

A great experience! I would say this was the best Dr office visit I have ever had! Everyone at the office was professional and nice. Dr. Hay was great and explained everything to my son.

Best ortho hand surgeon in southern california. He operated on my broken thumb and Im moving it without pain post op day 4!
